Appointments

                           How to make an appointment

Patients are asked to contact the surgery via telephone between 8am-10am and will be placed on the Doctors telephone triage list to receive a call back on the same day.

The doctor will decide if they want to see a patient in person and they will let the patient know what time they should arrive at the surgery.

Patients are expected to attend their appointments at the arranged time. If you are unable to attend, please inform the surgery as soon as possible

On exceptionally busy days, the doctors may become fully "booked" and you will need to call the surgery the following day.

Please note that we can become extremely busy during the morning surgeries and, on occasion, long waits can be experienced.

Emergency calls after 10am will be dealt with on the same day.

Please Note: Our staff are operating under the instructions of the Doctors. The doctors are aware that the staff are asking you questions if you call for an emergency appointment and have approved this in order to maintain an effective emergency system. Please understand this and be courteous to our staff who are only following procedures. Please also bear in mind that all our calls are recorded and we operate a zero tolerance policy on patients being abusive or aggressive towards our staff.

HOME VISITS

This service is at the discretion of the doctor(s) and should only be requested if you are housebound or too ill to attend the surgery. Upon a request for a home visit, the doctor will conduct a telephone triage call.
