Where to Start
If you’re feeling worried, stressed, or concerned about your mental health—or someone you care about—your first step is to contact your General Practitioner (GP). They can listen to your concerns and decide if you need a referral to a specialist mental health team. For non-urgent issues, your GP is your best starting point.
Urgent Support
If you need help right away or aren’t sure where to turn, call NHS 111 Wales and select option 2. This free, 24/7 service connects you with mental health professionals who can offer advice and support for you or a loved one. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 999 or visit your nearest Emergency Unit.
